PM Rowley To Attend 44th CARICOM Heads Of Government Conference

On Wednesday, Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley will travel to the Bahamas to attend the Forty-Fourth  Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

In a media release, the Office of the Prime Minister said the meeting will be held under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Bahamas, Philip Davis.

Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, will act as Prime Minister until Dr Rowley return.

The meeting will focus on several issues including the CARICOM Single Market and Economy, Climate Change, including Climate Finance, Agriculture and Food Security, Security, and Health.

Several foreign guests including Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, will also be in attendance to discuss important matters relevant to CARICOM.
