Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, described public service as honourable as he reviewed and congratulated Christine Kangallo on her appointment as President elect of Trinidad and Tobago.
Dr Rowley described the meeting of the Electoral College on Friday as one which went smoothly and dutifully, and acknowledged all those who participated in the process.
He congratulated all those who put their names forward for the prestigious position.
Dr Rowley said the accomplishment as a plus for the country.
