Prime minister of St Vincent And the Grenadines Dr Ralph Gonzales has sustained an injury to his heat in an apparent attack. Video footage shows a projectile being hurled at the Prime Minister and striking his head. He has been taken to hospital.
Prime minister Gonsalves was later airlifted to Barbados for an MRI scan of his injury.
Prime Minister Gonsalves was injured this afternoon just outside Parliament after he was hit in the head by a missile. Crowds have been protesting the impending passage of amendments to the Public Health Act.
