In the wake of the active La Soufriere volcano and evacuation of thousands of citizens in the island’s red zone. Prime Minister Ralph Gonzales begged the population to be responsible and take the covid 19 vaccines.
He said that it would be catastrophic if there were a serious outbreak of the virus on the island while dealing with the dire circumstances of the active La Soufriere volcano. PM Gonzales made the appeal while on radio updating the population on the eruption status this morning.
He also begged the remaining persons in the red zone to evacuate immediately:”For heaven’s sake leave. Do not risk anymore of your life and limb,” Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves tells people still in La Soufriere’s Red Zone
