Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley condemned recent statements by the Opposition leader which sought answers on the standard of care of older persons at the national hospitals related to Covid 19.
Recently Mrs. Kamla Persad Bissessar on the UNC’s report questioned if older persons were being sidelined in terms of priority healthcare as the parallel health care system approached capacity in recent weeks.
Dr. Rowley condemned the statements as irresponsible and only served to undermine the credibility and professionalism of medical healthcare professionals in T&T.
