Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley today admitted to also asking unvaccinated staff to not be on his security detail.
Speaking at a post-Cabinet media briefing at the Prime Minister’s Tobago residence at Blenheim, in Thursday July 22, Dr. Rowley said the decision was made just before the briefing.
He said he asked that unvaccinated security officers not be rostered to work on his security detail.
President Paula Mae-Weekes has also made the same request – which was revealed yesterday; that unvaccinated security officials to stay away from her.
Dr. Rowley tested positive for COVID-19 on April 6, the exact same day he was scheduled to get his first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
However got his first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine on July 21.
