Officers of Pinto Police Post and Area East Operational Unit seized a quantity of ammunition and drugs during an anti-crime exercise in the Northern Division, Malabar on Thursday.
During the exercise, a search was conducted along Coroton Avenue, Malabar. Acting on information received, officers made their way to an open bushy area of the savannah, where they allegedly discovered one plastic bag containing five rounds of nine millimetre ammunition and 20 grammes of cocaine.
The items were removed and taken to the Pinto Police Post for processing.
The TTPS says investigations are continuing.
