Petition To Be Sent To Education Ministry For Janitorial Service At Mount Hope Secondary School

Parents of students who attend Mount Hope Secondary School have initiated a petition, which will be sent to the Education Ministry, requesting janitorial service be introduced at the institution especially in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This situation was made public by Interim Chairman of the National Parent Teachers Association, Zena Ramatali.

Ms Ramatali was at the time speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital Tuesday.

Ms Ramatali said for five years now the school has been without a janitorial service, which she described as unacceptable.

Ms Ramatali said members of staff have been doing what they can to help in this  area but she insisted there is need for an established janitorial company to be present at the Mount Hope Secondary School which was established since 1972.
