Persons awaiting Covid results now have the option of emailing the MOH

People seeking to know the results of their Covid-19 tests can now e-mail the Ministry of Health.

Before, persons were told to call the offices of the County Medical Officers of Health (CMOH)s or the lab for results.

However, at today’s virtual media briefing, Chief Medical Officer Roshan Parasram announced that emails will now be accommodated at [email protected].

He said, “This is actually being looked at on a daily basis during the week, from Monday to Friday at the public health lab.

“Once someone is assigned, they will look into the database, (and) see if they can get a result.
“That result will then be sent to the CMOHs if it has not already been, and the CMOH’s office will call that person to give them their results.”

Emails sent to the address must include: name, address, phone number and if they can recall, where and when they were swabbed.
