The much-hyped and long awaited Pepper Spray legislation is finally headed to Parliament on May 11th.
During today’s session in the House, Cabinet approved the Firearms Amendment Bill 2021 – (Pepper Spray Bill).
The Bill will be debated during the next sitting of the Senate, which is scheduled for Tuesday, 11 May at 10am.
Back in February, the National Security Council (NSC) approved the use of pepper spray as a “device for safety”.
