The people who know me best all know that I am super private, especially when it comes to certain charitable ventures. I have been giving thanks through charity for years because it is imbedded in who I am. This Covid-19 global pandemic is affecting everyone. We as artistes are not spared and have no idea when next we will be able to work. Not being able to earn also affects our ability to live…The effects are real. There is a warped misconception that because charity is not posted on social media it is not happening. There are many in the creative sector who are presently struggling to make ends meet and that is the reality however many of us are finding ways to assist however best we can. As much as I have already assisted significantly during this pandemic I announced during my virtual performance last evening that I will providing assistance to families in my hometown of Toco. I will not be posting the quantity, hampers, families or any other intimate details about this venture and I wish for that to be respected. It is my hope that we all come out of this situation better people. Please be kind, continue to pray and be positive. This too shall pass.
