Parliament Learns 132 Have Benefit From This Year’s “A House for Christmas” Initiative

One hundred and thirty-two persons have benefited from homes under the Housing Development Corporation’s, “A House for Christmas” initiative.

The move covered the period August 23rd to October 25th this year.

The Parliament was this afternoon given a detailed breakdown of the various areas where housing units were allocated, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Camille Robinson Regis  during the question and answer period in the House of Representatives Friday afternoon.

Minister Robinson Regis was asked by the Member of Parliament for Point-a-Pierre about the criteria used to allocated the homes.

Mrs Robinson Regis said the HDC followed its regular criteria policy where persons who applied and are qualified benefited from state housing.
