Parents may be liable to prosecution for supporting criminal activities carried out by their children.
This warning came from Senior Superintendent Kerwin Francis of the Northern Division, as he urged parents not to be an accessory to their children’s criminal activities.
Speaking at the weekly TTPS media briefing on Thursday Senior Superintendent Francis said
He suggested that parents who notice anti-social or troublesome behaviour in their children seek assistance from the police service in guiding them.
