PAHO Director Concerned About Hike In Covid-19 Cases In The Caribbean

The Caribbean is noticing an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases.

This development is made known by the Pan American Health Organization Director, Dr. Carissa Etienne.

Speaking at a news briefing this week, Dr. Etienne said deaths for persons with the virus went up for a third straight week.

Dr. Etienne said the hike in cases against the virus has been noticed in several countries in the region as well as Central America.

The senior PAHO official said over one point eight million one vaccines have been administrated and cited the importance of people being inoculated against Covid-19.
