Today its twenty-one additional Covid-19 deaths when compared to thirty-one persons who passed away from the virus on Thursday in Trinidad and Tobago.
In its latest clinical update the Ministry of Health said the persons were seven elderly males, five elderly females, four middle aged males, four middle-age- females and one young adult female.
The ministry said the deaths the total number of covid-19 related deaths to two thousand and sixty-one.
The Ministry said nine had multiple comorbidities including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, asthma and obesity.
It said six persons had no know medical conditions.
The ministry also said six persons had one comorbidity, diabetes, hypertension or asthma.
Meanwhile, 720 additional persons have tested positive for Covid-19 locally.
The Ministry said sixty-nine persons have been discharged from public health facilities.
There have also been 231 recovered community cases.
