Over twenty thousand (20 000) persons in Tobago are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
This disclosure was made public by Secretary of Health, Wellness and Family Development in the Tobago House of Assembly, Tracy Davidson Celestine.
The THA Health Secretary, who was speaking at a news briefing on Tuesday, said the number of persons who have taken both doses of the vaccine is twenty thousand, three hundred and fifty two (20 352).
In terms of persons in the sister isle that have been inoculated for the virus with one dose so far, the number is twenty-two thousand, three hundred and fifty four (22 354).
Secretary Davidson Celestine said about seventy percent of staff at the Tobago Regional Health Authority have already received the Covid-19 vaccine.
