Over $3 Million Spent By Gov’t On Vacation Revision Programme, Confirms Education Minister

Over three million dollars was spent by the government on the Vacation Revision Programme this year.

The classes were only for those students who scored less than 50 percent on the 2022 Secondary Entrance Assessment.

It went for four weeks from July 18th to August 12th.

Nine thousand students from primary and secondary schools were expected to benefit from the programme.

Minister of Education, Dr Nyan Gadbsy Dolly, was questioned on the matter during parliament today.

Dr Gadbsy Dolly said the amount spent on the venture was three million, three hundred and ninety-two thousand, three hundred and fifty-five dollars.
