Over 1,000 Positive Covid-19 Cases Among Staff and Students Since Return To Physical Classes In TT

One thousand, three hundred and eighty five positive covid-19 cases have been recorded in the education system since the April 19^th return to physical classes in Trinidad and Tobago

Confirmation of this comes from Chief Education Officer, Dr Peter Smith.

Dr Smith made the revelation while addressing a news briefing held at the Ministry of Education, St Vincent Street, Port of Spain, today.

Dr Smith said this figure includes staff and students and provided details relating to a breakdown of the cases over a four week period.
