A call is made for the floodgates at Tulsa Trace and Woodland in the Constituency of Oropouche West and in St John Trace in Avocat to be repaired.
It comes from Member of Parliament for Oropouche West, Davendranath Tancoo.
In a Facebook post on his page today MP Tancoo advised residents to speak up and speak out.
MP Tancoo is also appealing for action on the matter from the Minister of Works and Transport.
Given COVID restrictions, the Oropouche West MP advised residents to protest in writing to the Minister and on the media.
