Opposition Wants Information On Legal Fees Paid To Reginald Armour By The State

The Opposition is claiming newly appointed Attorney General, Reginald Armour, has represented the state in several cases before and wants to know if he is still owed payment for such work done.

Opposition Senator, Wade Mark, raised the matter during a news briefing held at the Opposition’s Charles Street, Port of Spain, on Thursday afternoon.

Senator Mark claimed disclosure on this subject will help bring about transparency and accountability to the population.

Mr Mark said the public should be provided with this information and will be placed in a better position to assess the situation if this is done.
