Opposition Senator, Saddam Hussein, is claiming that he has documents in his possession, allegedly pointing to corruption within the Unemployment Relief Programme.
He purported that there is a scheme in the URP.
Senator Hussein then indicated that the alleged corruption is part of plans ahead of upcoming elections.
During the proceedings, government senator Avinash Singh also spoke on what he claimed to be inappropriate activities and practices during the stint of the last administration.
