Opposition Chief Whip, David Lee has doubled down on the party’s position this morning regarding the lack of support for the new PSC nominees saying it is not about these 5 new people, it is about answers that the country needs.
He told Power 102 Digital that there are still questions to be answered regarding the PSC.
Mr Lee maintained that while the Opposition has no problem with the candidates’ qualifications but there are issues which must be aired.
Mr Lee suggested that the President, Her Excellency Paula Mae Weekes, is simply papering over the cracks with these appointments
The Pointe-a-Pierre MP said there are also questions surrounding the future of the Police Commissioner appointment process.
