Opposition questions safety of Safe Zones

One Opposition MP is questioning whether safe zones are really safe and he’s calling on the Government to make Antigen tests available to members of the public.
Caroni East MP Dr Rishard Seecharan has expressed concern that the safe zones could be a potential super spreader as more Delta cases are being recorded.
Fully vaccinated patrons must show proof of vaccination and one form of valid photo identification in order to be allowed entry.
According to the Health Ministry photo copies or mobile phone photos of Covid Immunization Cards will be accepted as proof of vaccination for entry into safe zones.
