Opposition MPs Walk Out Of Parliament In Protest Of AG Again

A walk out from Members of the Opposition occurred in the parliament on Wednesday, before the input of the Attorney General, Reginald Armour, on the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act 2015.

The Opposition previously walked out of the Chamber twice before contributions by the AG.

The Opposition has been making appeals for the AG Armour to step down or be fired.

They claim the move is necessary due matters relating to the Piarco Airport Corruption Case.

One of the defendants in the case was represented by the AG.

During the contribution of Opposition Member of Parliament for Couva South, Rudy Indarsingh, the Speaker of the Representatives reminded MP Indarsingh to stay focus on the bill.
