The Government is being urged to reveal what are its plans to address the impact of the rise in food prices, fuel prices and inflation on the general public.
The call comes from senior opposition member, David Lee.
The Pointe-a-Pierre MP said he believes the figures by the Central Statistical Office are inaccurate.
He suggested to News Power Now that the actual inflation rate may be higher than the 4 percent figure cited in the CSO’ latest report.
He added that the Government has remained silent on suggestions by the Opposition to aid in easing the burden being felt by the public.
MP Lee said the Opposition intends to raise the matter in Parliament today.
