Opposition Leader, Kamla Persad-Bissessar has described the Minister of National, Security Stuart Young as a complete failure.
She said the Minister has a track record of speaking out of turn and sometimes speaking untruths.
Persad-Bissessar accused Minister Young of operating under an unlawful piece of subsidiary legislation, stating that there was no legal basis for him to deny entry to citizens of T&T.
She accused Minister Young of continuously shifting the goal post and changing the rules in terms of who is allowed in and out of the country.
She read a letter in Parliament in which several persons were granted an exemption to the current travel restrictions to several persons.
