Minister of Education, Dr Nyan Gadbsy Dolly, told the House of Representatives Friday afternoon, the Police Service will provide sustained presence for the duration of school days for a period to be determined.
Member of Parliament for Naparima, Rodney Charles, questioned Minister Gadbsy Dolly on whether there are programs in place to deal with psychological trauma which can affect the learning experiences of students.
In response, Dr Gadbsy Dolly said the Ministry has implemented the necessary processes to support the students and teachers.
