After an order was last night made for all 26 Venezuelan migrants to be placed in quarantine, only three of them have since been transferred from police custody to the Heliport in Chaguaramas.
A five-year-old boy, his sister and his mother were transferred from the Erin Police Station to the migrant detention centre this morning.
The legal team is now said to be making enquiries as to why officials chose to only place one family in quarantine and leave the rest detained at the police station.
In a hearing last night, High Court judge , Justice Quinlan-Williams ordered that all be transferred by 6 am today.
Under the order, Quinlan-Williams also granted an injunction blocking another attempt to have them repatriated pending the outcome of their case.
The case is scheduled to come up for virtual hearing at 7 pm.
