A 35-year-old man identified as Miguel Butler aka “Meeks” was shot in Maloney on Sunday.
Around 4:15 pm, Butler and another man identified only as ‘Fighta,’ were liming outside Building 5 at Evergale Avenue, Maloney Gardens, D’Abadie, when a silver Nissan AD wagon pulled up.
Four men emerged, all armed with firearms, and opened fire on the victims, killing Butler at the scene.
Fighta ran towards Building 3 where he collapsed and was taken to the Arima District Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
