The total number of persons who have died as a result of the Covid-19 virus now stands at 13.
The Ministry of Health confirmed the death, adding that the victim was an adult male.
An additional 35 persons have tested positive for the virus.
The Ministry then provided the following clinical update:

There are 202 patients en route to the hospital while 93 persons are being processed for admission.
There are 42 persons at Caura Hospital and 101 persons at Couva Hospital- five in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and two in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
