Olympian’s murderer may be using his cell phone

The person who murdered Special Olympian and former Football Captain, Sean Gibson, may be using his cell phone.

The athlete’s sister, Candice Gibson, said that the Whats App messenger on her brother’s phone was active. She said she sent a message through the App and it was read but the person did not respond. She also called the phone a few times but the person did not answer.

Gibson’s body was found last week Saturday behind a vegetable stall in Woodland along the M2 Link road. His head was bashed in, and an autopsy report confirmed that his death was as a result of blunt force trauma. His cell phone was not discovered at the scene. His family are questioning why someone would want to hurt Gibson who represented T&T at the Special Olympics. He was 34 years-old and worked as a security guard.

Police are continuing investigations.
