Nurses Assoc. deeply concerned for nurses’ safety

Following the shooting death of a patient at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital on Tuesday night, President of the Trinidad and Tobago Registered Nurses Association Idi Stewart is deeply concerned about the security personnel at the Hospital.

Speaking with News Power Now this morning, Stewart said that there have been many incidents in the past that threatened the safety of staff and those at Health Institutions. He said the shooting of the patient presents serious issues that must be addressed.

Stewart said because of the construction of the old building, perpetrators can now easily enter the Wards.
