The real test has just begun.
This is the belief of Nursing Association President, Idi Stewart.
Speaking with News Power Now shortly after the vaccines’ arrival last evening, Mr Stewart expressed his joy at the good news.
He said it has been long in coming but added that he expects that the rollout will be efficient.
Mr. Stewart pointed out that more than 80 percent of nurses in Trinidad and Tobago remain unvaccinated against COVID.
However, he anticipated that any issues surrounding logistics of vaccine awareness which may have prevented healthcare workers from being vaccinated the first time around, will have been addressed and corrected by now.
