This is message being sent to care-givers and domestic workers by the union which represents them.
The National Union of Domestic Workers says it is pursuing this course of action in a bid to get the government to amend the Industrial Relations Act to include this category of employees.
General Secretary of NUDE, Ida Le Blanc, says if this is done she remains confident it will result in many benefits for workers and the nation.
Le Blanc said domestic workers need a good social security system especially in light of the rising cost of living.
Speaking with News Power Now today, Ms Le Blanc cited the struggles over the years to reach this point as well as what has been going internationally in this area.
