Three men were arrested, and a quantity ammunition was seized during a drug enforcement exercise conducted in the Northern Division on Saturday.
During the exercise, a search warrant was executed at a residence located at Hinds Street, Windy Hill, Bon Air North. During the search officers found and took possession of four rounds of 9-millimetre ammunition. Three occupants of the house were arrested.
The exercise was supervised ACP Samaroo and Snr Supt Ramphall, spearheaded by Supt Powder, ASP Powder and Insp Pitt, coordinated by Sgt Pamphille and Cpl Morang, and was conducted by officers of the Northern Division Task Force (NDTF), Area Central.
Investigations are ongoing.
