North-Central Regional Health Authority refutes claims of not making NIS payments

The North-Central Regional Health Authority is refuting claims by President of the Trinidad and Tobago Registered Nurses Association, Idi Stuart, in the article titled: “Nurses: Gov’t not making NIS payments,” published in the Newsday newspapers on September 6 th ,2024.
NCRHA affirms its complete compliance with all statutory obligations and is pleased to report it is 100% up-to-date in its payments to the National Insurance Board.
The NCRHA asserts all statutory deductions, including PAYE, Health Surcharge, and National Insurance Scheme contributions are accurately deducted from employees, salaries and promptly remitted to the respective institutions by the 15th of each month.
This process is adhered to, ensuring all obligations are met punctually.
In the rare instance an employee has a query regarding these deductions or submissions, he or she is advised to contact the Finance Department.
The NCRHA remains committed to pursue the highest standards as endeavour to maintain position as the standard bearer for quality healthcare in Trinidad and Tobago.
