Officers are searching for a man seen discarding a black bag into an abandoned structure and making good his escape yesterday.
Around 6.45 pm, yesterday, officers of Area East, North Central Division conducted a search warrant at a house on Dickson Street, Five Rivers Arouca.
During the search, a 39-year-old male occupant of the house was being advised while another man of the same premises was seen throwing a black bag into an abandoned structure and then fleeing the scene.
Officers completed the search, they then went to the abandoned structure and searched the black bag where they discovered 127.5 grammes of marijuana.
The North Central Task Force-East are confident that the assailant will be apprehended.
Investigations are ongoing.
