No proof that Covid-19 can be transmitted by air

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Roshan Parasram, says claims indicating COVID-19 can be transmitted via airborne means cannot be proven scientifically.

He gave the update during his response to a question posed on the topic at the Ministry of Health weekly news briefing on Wednesday.

Dr Parasram said research continues on the pandemic.
