“The Central Government is in dire straits due to the Covid-19 pandemic and therefore, release of funds for projects are not as forthcoming as they should.”
This according to San Fernando Mayor, Junia Regrello who took to his Facebook page to highlight the work the corporation has embarked on by paving the road.
Regrello said “the San Fernando City Corporation embarked on a road patching exercise in the inner city this morning, with the hope that it would bring some relief to those who traverse the area.”
However, due to the extent of the work the exercise will be completed next weekend.
