Police are trying to identify the body of a man found off Lady Young Road, Morvant on Saturday morning with stab wounds.
Two police officers were on patrol around 6am when a passerby alerted them about the body seen lying off the roadway along St Francois Valley Road, off Lady Young Road, Morvant.
The officers notified the Morvant Police Station and the Morvant CID and team of officers responded and found the body of the man lying on the back with stab wounds to the abdomen.
The body was removed to the Forensic Science Centre in St James for identification and subsequent autopsy.
