Point Fortin police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the decomposing body of a man, which was found floating at sea on Tuesday morning near Point Fortin.
Police and Coast Guard officials were alerted to the discovery around 10am at the Gulf of Paria near Heritage Petroleum Company Ltd.
The body, which was clad in a short pants, bore no visible marks of violence.
Anyone with information can call the Point Fortin police at 648-2426 or the nearest police station.
They can also make contact with the police via 999, 555 or Crime Stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477) or make a report through the TTPS app.
