The Ministry of Health has reported that nine additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.
Also, according to the Health Ministry’s 10AM update, 12 persons have been discharged from public health facilities and there are 37 additional recovered community cases.
Recovered community cases refer to persons who were in self-isolation at home after testing positive for COVID-19, and have subsequently met the discharge criteria.
Thankfully, no additional deaths have been recorded and so the death toll remains at 70 as of this morning.
There are now 2,017 active cases of COVID-19 in T&T.
Of these, 102 persons remain hospitalized, including nine in the ICU and 6 in the HDU.
