Nikoli Blackman broke the boys 15-17 100m freestyle at PanAm Aquatic Champs

Nikoli Blackman broke the boys 15-17 100-metre freestyle, boys 15-17 50-metre butterfly and the boys 15-17 50m freestyle meet records, over the weekend, at the National Aquatic Centre, Couva.

In the 50m freestyle, on Sunday he stopped the clock in 22.71 seconds to erase the previous PanAm Aquatics Swimming Championships record of 22.82 .

Blackman grabbed 11 medals at the meet which comprised of seven gold medals, three silver and one bronze. He also earned seven individual medals and four relay medals along the top swimmer’s ‘high point’ trophy in the 15-17 men category.
