Nicki Minaj is recording new material for her next album and has reached out to her fans for some help.
The superstar rapper shared a tease of what appeared to be a new track on her Instagram Story Tuesday night.
However, in the snippet, Minaj wasn’t spitting lyrics like usual.
Instead, she was seemingly laying down backing vocals and melodic accompaniments for what sounded like an R&B track while singing the phrase “Yeah” over and over again and humming.
Nicki also certainly revealed that her next album will probably have a few R&B hits as she called on her fans to use social media and help her convince Keke Winans, Tamar Braxton & Brandy to all duet with her on the album.
The 38-year-old Trini-born rapper also called on current female R&B singers including Jhené Aiko and Kehlani to hop on the album.
Kehlani has already collaborated with Minaj with an appearance on her Queen Radio on Apple Music back in 2018.
