T&T cyclist Nicholas Paul will now have to place his focus on the upcoming Men’s keiren races.
This after he was eliminated from the men’s sprint event at the Paris Olympics this afternoon.
Paul reached the 1/8 repechage where he came up against Japan’s Yuta Obara and Australia’s Leigh Hoffman. However, with the top two going into the 1/8 round, Paul finished last.
Obara, who Paul had beaten in the 1/32 round, won in a time of 10.043 seconds.
Paul will now compete in the men’s keirin event, which starts on Saturday.
