New PSA President says the PSA stands with its colleagues in rejecting mandatory vaccination

Newly appointed President of the Pubic Services Association Leroy Baptiste says the PSA stands with its colleagues in the Labour movement, in rejecting government’s policy which requires public sector workers to be vaccinated by January 17th or face the possibility of furlough and possible termination. He says that this ultimatum by the government is forcing workers to take the vaccine under duress and as such renders any talk of choice null and void.

He says public sector workers are being coerced into taking the vaccine when they have legitimate concerns and the PSA Attorneys are standing by to fight for the rights of workers.

He added that in his opinion the ‘safe zones’ in the country may be responsible for the spread of covid 19 in the country.
