The APT James vessel which arrived in Trinidad and Tobago in January and was placed into service just last week, has already suffered damage, albeit a minor one.
NIDCO said there is “slight” damage to the rear gate, which occurred after the vessel was put in service and efforts are being addressed to remedy it.
The ATP James is an all aluminium catamaran that can also carry 250 cars at a speed of 37.5 knots.
Passengers on the maiden voyage said they were pleased with the ride and service received on board the vessel.
However, some have complained that there are limited reclining seats on the vessel, which makes resting on the journey very uncomfortable.
