NCRHA Says EWMSC Complex Unaffeced By Recent Earthquake

The Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex remains fully operational following the earthquake that occurred Saturday night.

North Central Regional Health Authority says its facilities have sustained no structural or operational damage in the aftermath of last evening’s earthquake, measuring magnitude of 6.2 struck at approximately 11:58pm.

All emergency protocols were promptly activated to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.

It says thanks to these measures and the dedication of its committed team, all hospital services continue to be available without interruption.

Chief Executive Officer of the NCRHA, Davlin Thomas, says “Our primary focus remains on providing exceptional care to our patients, and we continue to monitor the situation closely,” .
