NCC Debunks Rumoured Monday Night Street Parade

The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago is debunking any social media hype of an authorised street parade, rumoured to be scheduled for Monday evening, after Neil “Iwer” George’s concert.

The Commission is advising the public that it has every expectation of safe and responsible behaviour before, during, and after Neil “Iwer” George’s concert, which is confirmed for 5 p.m. today, at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah.

In a media release the NCC said to that end, all of the Commission’s compliance resources will be on full alert in order to ensure the safety and security of all patrons.

The Commission said it is working closely with Mr. George and again seeks to make it clear to all members of the public that all compliance protocols have been agreed upon, and today’s event will operate responsibly and within all official health and safety parameters.
