A robust firearms retrieval exercise will be carried out in Trinidad and Tobago.
Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, at a media briefing on Monday, raised concerns about in the ease in getting illegal firearms into the country.
Minister Hinds said, from intelligence gathered, there are over twelve thousand illegal firearms in the country.
Mr Hinds said the aim is get the unlawful weapons.
